The interior of the glass fire bowl is very smooth, comparable to a fireplace glass. The exterior is somewhat more porous and rougher. Dirt on the exterior is very difficult to remove, so please be careful when using it.<\/p>\n

Black soot deposits can be found in any area where solid, liquid, or gaseous fuels are burned. When the carbon residue cools after the combustion process, it remains as black particles and settles on the inside of the fire bowl.<\/p>\n

It's also advisable to remove any ash after each use. Ideally, the inside of the fire bowl should be thoroughly cleaned once or twice a year. Cleaning time may vary depending on the type of wood being burned. Well-seasoned and dry wood burns cleaner and therefore requires less cleaning than damp or resinous wood.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t

To clean soot from your fire bowl, you can also use particularly inexpensive and environmentally friendly household remedies. A combination of vinegar and baking soda is particularly effective for cleaning your fire bowl. Mix some baking soda with regular household vinegar. Once a thick paste has formed, you can apply it to the sooty surfaces using crepe paper or newspaper. After letting it sit for a few minutes, you can then clean the inside of the bowl with a damp sponge.<\/p>\n

Alternatively, you can also use commercially available oven or glass cleaners. Always wear gloves when using chemical cleaning agents. Wearing safety goggles is also recommended. Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions for further information.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t
